Beijing; China's capital city and where the ancient and modern worlds collide. It's hard to reduce a place such as this to three places, but I'll certainly try.
1. The Great Wall
No matter the images you see of this historic landmark, you will still be in awe of the wondrous and magnificent sight that you will encounter. The sights leave you breathless, as well as the vertical flights of stairs you will be climbing.
2. Forbidden City
In the centre of Beijing lies the Forbidden City, serving as a home for emperors for almost 500 years. This vast expanse of beautiful, architectural structures.
3. Tienanmen Square
Being one of the top ten largest city squares in the world and holding historic significance around the world for its notable political protests, means this is not a sight to be missed. Though it can be very busy, so brace yourself for constant crowds.
